GRAPHENE coatingS
What is a graphene coating?
A graphene coating is a professional grade protective layer applied over your motorcycle’s exterior surfaces. It bonds at a molecular level to form a durable, long lasting shield that protects paintwork and other components from everyday wear and environmental damage.
Graphene coatings are ultra hydrophobic, meaning they strongly repel water and help prevent dirt, grime, brake dust, and contaminants from sticking to the surface. The result is a slick, glossy finish that stays cleaner for longer and is much easier to maintain. Regular washing is all that is needed to keep the bike looking its best.
The graphene coatings we apply also feature self healing properties, allowing very fine swirl marks and light surface marring to reduce over time with normal heat exposure, helping the finish stay looking sharper for longer.
Unlike traditional waxes that wear off quickly, graphene coatings are designed to last for years. The coatings come with warranties ranging from 5 to 10 years depending on the level chosen.
With manufacturers applying thinner clear coats than ever before, protecting your bike early is more important than ever. A graphene coating helps preserve the finish, reduce the need for polishing, protect against environmental damage, and maintain your bike’s appearance and resale value over the long term.
Maintenance and warranty:
To maintain warranty coverage, the coated motorcycle must receive an annual maintenance wash carried out by us. This ensures the coating is correctly assessed, refreshed where required, and continues to perform as intended. We also recommend regular gentle washing using pH neutral products and avoiding harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners between maintenance visits. Aftercare guidance is provided following application.
FAQs
Pricing
We offer two levels of professional grade graphene protection coatings, both suitable for use across all exterior motorcycle surfaces.
Gold Graphene Coating
10H pencil hardness
5 year warranty
$399
Platinum Graphene Titanium Coating
10 year warranty
$499
Both coatings provide far superior protection compared to traditional waxes or sealants, helping your bike stay cleaner, glossier, and better protected long term. The main difference is the lifespan of the coating and the level of advanced technology used, with Platinum offering the highest durability and performance available.
Application time and suitability
The graphene coating application itself takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. This does not include the preparation work carried out beforehand, such as washing, decontamination, and paint correction, which is essential for proper bonding and long term performance.
Graphene coatings are not suitable for all motorcycles. If the paintwork or surfaces are heavily faded, damaged, or poorly maintained, a coating may not be offered. We only apply coatings to surfaces that meet the required condition standards to ensure correct bonding, performance, and warranty coverage.
This approach protects both your motorcycle and the integrity of the coating system.
Coated areas
We coat all suitable exterior surfaces on the motorcycle, including paintwork, handlebars, lights, chrome, rims, exhaust pipes and mufflers, gear shifter levers, rear brake levers, and other exposed components. This provides consistent protection and easier maintenance across the entire bike.

Special care and maintenance
No special care is required, however a change in washing habits is important to protect the coating. We recommend using pH neutral products, avoiding harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, and following safe wash methods.
Regular gentle washing will help keep the bike looking its best. To maintain warranty coverage, an annual maintenance wash and inspection carried out by us is required. This allows the coating to be assessed and refreshed where needed so it continues to perform as intended.
Polishing and wax after coating
No polishing or wax is required once a graphene coating has been applied. Applying waxes, sealants, or abrasive polishes over the coating can interfere with its performance and durability.
When maintained correctly using pH neutral products and safe wash methods, the coated surface will remain slick, glossy, and easy to clean. Any inspection or refreshing of the coating should be carried out during the required annual maintenance wash by us to ensure warranty coverage is maintained.
Black spots and surface residue
The coatings we apply will not cause black spots or any unusual residue to appear during washing. When maintained correctly, the coating helps contaminants release more easily from the surface rather than bonding to it.
Any marks that do appear during normal use are typically environmental contamination and can be safely removed during routine washing or an annual maintenance inspection.
Annual inspection and warranty
As part of the care requirements for the graphene coatings we apply, an annual inspection and maintenance wash carried out by us is required to ensure the coating continues to perform as intended.
During this inspection, we assess the condition of the coating and refresh it where required. This process helps maintain performance, appearance, and long term durability.
This requirement is explained at the time of booking and again once the coating has been applied, and forms part of the coating’s terms and conditions.
Failure to have the motorcycle inspected annually by us will result in the warranty being void.
